HOW DOES A DRUMLIN FARM CSA WORK?

  • Members sign up and pay ahead for the full CSA season, - 20 weeks of beautiful product!

  • BEGINS JUNE 1, 2017

  • ENDS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12TH, 2017

  • PICK-UP IS AT DRUMLIN FARM: THURSDAYS FROM 3:00 PM TO 8:00 PM.

  • PICK UP IS SELF-SERVE.

  • MOST of the time you will have total choice as to what you select. When a new crop comes out, e.g. tomatoes, that choice may at first be restricted.

DOLLAR SYSTEM

Each item will be displayed and will be assigned a dollar value. You choose the amount of money you wish to spend, for each week. (minimum 20 dollars/week, please).

To make it simple, figure out how much you typically spend on fresh, organic produce, eggs, processed foods each week. Multiply that by 20 weeks, and that’s how much you should buy. You pay for  the whole share season, before the first pick up date.

EXAMPLES:

$20/ week    =       $400

$25/ week    =       $500

$28/ week     =       $560

32.50/week    =      $650

$40/ week     =      $800

$55/ week     =     $1100

Reminder: you may purchase any amount you want to spend each week (minimum $20); the above are examples only.

You may choose a payment method: full; or you choose your own payment plan.  The first payment is due when you register.

Your 2017 CSA purchase must be 100% paid for by May 30th.

Thank you!

Working Share:

New this year. We are offering a limited number of shares, in exchange for work. Total the share amount you would like, (example $20 share x 20weeks = $400), divide by 10, and that will equal the number of hours required for a working share. We provide breaks and lunch; you will need to commit to a regular schedule, appropriate clothing, and transportation to and from the farm. Please email Drumlin Farm for further details.

Returning Customers/Students:

Please deduct 10% from your 20 WEEK season cost as a thank you!  (does not apply to Ten Pick Up Cards).

Ten Pick Up Card:

Some people are busy, don’t want that much produce every week, or are away for holidays.

A Ten Pick Up card may be for you.

This ‘card’ allows you to pick up your produce, the dollar amount is your choosing, when you want to, to a maximum of 10 times over the 20-week season. (*rules apply*)

To calculate your Ten Pick Up Card:

Choose the number of dollars you wish to purchase, each pick up for a whole 20 week season.

Multiply by 20,  Divide by 2

       Add $20 administration fee

Example:  I wish to purchase 35 points:     35  x  20  ÷  2  +  20  =  $370

You may choose any number of points for your share, the minimum being 20. Each point is $22 for the season.
